Keisha Buchanan's Solo Come Back!

After being booted out of one of the biggest girl bands in the UK, ex Sugababes member, Keisha Buchanan took to the stage last night.

Her first solo performance in a very long time, Buchanan performed many songs including Sugababes hits such as 'Overload' and 'Push The Button' at Jacques Townhouse last night. Also, struggling to cover tracks such as 'Rolling in the Deep' by Adele and her version of 'Girls Wanna Have Fun' by Cindy Lauper with 'Who Run The World' by Beyonce as a breakdown.

Is Keisha Buchanan ready to be in the charts?

I'm not so sure Buchanan got as much hype as she got performing the covers and oldies as she did her own material. Performing songs that were leaked last year, she gave us 3 tracks that are supposedly featured on her forthcoming debut album. 'Carried Away', 'Beautiful Mess' and 'Fearless'.

They weren't nothing special. For a female artist who has been kicked out and shamed in the public media, I would of thought she would of come with something to show her fellow ex members and industry what she is made off and can do on her own. Instead she gave us what I like to call 'basic pop'.

We sure see that her vocal ability isn't weak but it also isn't strong. Maybe she only works better in a band than a solo artist? Or even she may be better as a backing vocalist? Either way, lets hope she actually does come with something substantial.

Watch Keisha perform 'Carried Away' and 'Beautiful Mess' below.

  1. One word... WEAK. I'm not saying she's rubbish - far from it, but I'd definitely say she suffering from a serious case of disillusioned ideas of grandeur. She thinks she's much better than she actually is. Also, am I the only one who thinks getting up and singing some of her early Sugababes tracks smacks a lil bit too much of desparation?! They were good at the time - you got kicked out... If you want to make it on your own try and do that, maybe without dragging everyones' minds back to where it all started at every given opportunity?

  2. Hey, Prick, First of all, if u knew anything, you'd know that Keisha actually has the most right to sing those sugababes songs because she wrote them all, and even has rights to the NAME "THE SUGABABES". Secondly, I dont remember seeing you there. Thirdly, If anyone has delusions of grandeur then its you, in having the AUDACITY to title yourself "the UK's Perez Hilton". Surely if you were held in such high esteem you would have been invited no? When you say "names like Beyonce, BEP, David Guetta etc.." what exactly are you talking about? Because it cant possibly be anything related to the WEAK arse operation your running here? Most of your sentences have some kind of spelling mistake in them? how hard is it to spellcheck before publishing something?

C'mon man, until your good at what you're "trying" to do, you have no right to shit on others....

  3. Mustafa, Im sorry, but the only thing you have in common with Perez is that you're fat, and quite possibly gay. At least Perez works out, you're just some fat dancer to say the least. This weak-ass blog you have here is appalling, I mean, you don't even have your own domain. Fack it, you don't even form sentences properly! How difficult is it to know the difference between "too" and "to"? TOO is when people tell you: you talk TOO much shite, and TO is when people tell you that you need TO sort your life out. Ya digg?
Didn't you interview Beyonce at Glasto? Mate, that was weeks ago, don't tell me you ate the footage?
