THROWBACK THURSDAY: Nicole Wray - Make It Hot!

Nicole Monique Wray or better know as just Nicole Wray, first burst onto our TV screens in 1998 with her debut single 'Make It Hot' which was written and produced by heavy weight producer Timbaland and co-written by and featuring Hip Hop mogul Missy Elliot.

Being the first signing to The Goldmind, Missy's own label, Nicole went to release her debut album which was named after her first single. Heavily influenced by Missy Elliott (who wrote, produced and featured on many of the songs), Make It Hot reached number #5 in the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was certified gold. Her second single 'I Can't See' however, didn't do as well.

After leaving Missy Elliott's label, then signing to then at the time manager Damon Dash on Roc-A-Fella Records, she released her second album which was called Love Child. Although it gathered some hype, it also didn't do good.

It seemed like this talented singer just wasn't meant to be a superstar. But we will all remember her for 'Make It Hot' and featuring on Missy Elliott's 'All N My Grill'.

Watch the video to her first single below and let me know what you think.

Watch Rick Ross Sex Tape!

From when Rick Ross has a sex tape, you know the world is coming to an end.

When you are as big and horrendous looking as Rick Ross, there is no way you should be filming yourself whilst humping your fellow obese partner.

I very much understand that hippo's need loving too but no one wants to watch DAMMIT!

If you can stomach the sneak preview of the sex tape along with horrific pictures, then in the words of Diddy, 'Press Play'.

NEW VIDEO: Princess Nyah - Do What I Want!

Princess is an understatement for a female to name herself when she has the right idea on how to make you get up and groove.

Been away for a while, Princess Nyah, or what I like to call her as 'Queen of Funky', has dropped her new single titled 'Do What I Want', which has the right feel good vibe. Its catchy, fun and its just Nyah.

The concept of the video is very simple. Nyah doing a PA at a venue and looking sexy as ever. From the instant you press play, this song makes you want to bubble no matter what your doing and Princess Nyah has that affect with all of her songs.

Looking forward to the release date as I will definitely be purchasing this on iTunes. Check the video and make sure you comment.

Heshima - Tribute To Amy Winehouse!

Heshima Thompson was one of Amy Winehouse's backing singers. Along with his brother Zalon, they both formed a special friendship with the troubled artist. Seeing her highs and lows, these two never left her side and always showed support.

After hearing the devastating news of Amy Winehouse' death, Heshima posted a link to the track which he recorded in his bedroom.

Along with backstage footage, the track's lyrics included: 'Please don't go, this can't be right. Won't you stay, tears dry on their own, you say. These tears won't dry without you Amy.'

After listening and watching the video YouTube, it suddenly hit me that Amy is actually gone and we will no longer be able to hear her amazing music.

I've never been the type to be effected by a celebrities death but as I write this, my eyes are welling up and 'I've got this funny feeling in my stomach. Its been a sad weekend but I however, will remember her for her great achievements and stories I was told by her loved one's and friends.

Amy Winehouse, hope you get the rest and peace you deserve. RIP.

Listen to Heshima's tribute song and let me know what you was doing the day you first ever heard of Amy Winehouse.

Fazer Goes Solo!

Since N-Dubz have taken time to pursue their own solo careers. Fazer has stepped in the studio to bring you and album which he says will be as big as Timbalands' 'Shock Value'.
Richard Rawson or better known as Fazer, will reportedly have Katy Perry, Rihanna and Chris Brown on this so called epic album.

The rapper from Camden says. 'My album is going to do what Timbaland did. I'm in the studio this week with Katy Perry and there's a couple of mega-stars coming up, too.'

It is said that Fazer will be meeting the 'S&M' singer, Rihanna after her performance at the V Festival next month so they can discuss business.

From what it sounds like, Fazer no doubt will surprise us with this album. It is time we actually heard a lot more of him.

NEW MUSIC: Preeya Kalidas Ft. Scorcher - It's A Problem!

Lately, I have started to like music which I would usually be opposed to. Blogging about Scorcher twice in one month is very worrying.

Ex Eastenders star Amira, AKA Preeya Kalidas hasn't had much luck within the music industry. After releasing a 'Cross My Heart' which features grime artist Skepta, the song has taken many set backs. The reviews I read and the comments I heard weren't so good at all.

'Its A Problem', dare I say, is actually really, REALLY good. funny enough that Scorcher has stepped up his game. I have no idea what these two artists have done but they need to keep doing it.

Lets be honest, it could of been worse right? I may not purchase the song but I definitely wouldn't change it if it came on the radio that's for sure.

Take a listen to 'Its A Problem' by Preeya Kalidas featuring Scorcher and express your views.

NEW VIDEO: Angel Ft. Giggs - Popstar!

New singer sensation Angel, has hit the scene like a ton of bricks. After the release of his reply to Jessie J's 'Do It Like A Dude', he has been the talk of the town.

Angel has just released the video to 'Popstar' which features UK hip hop rapper Giggs.

I wasn't so sure about the track within the first 20 seconds, but as I listened to it some more it grew on me. Vocally, I think this guy is great. I love that his image and vocals don't compare at all. Its like you expect him to rap or spit some grime lyrics then his all adlibing through your speakers.

'Popstar' for me is a hit. Only based on Angel though. Giggs lyrically isn't doing much for me on this. We all know 'Look What The Cat Dragged In' was a hit amongst his other releases. For some reason I am not feeling him on this. Its not terrible per say but I'm sure he could be better.

Check the video and let me know your thoughts.

Rihanna's Artwork For 'Cheers'!

Rihanna has announced her new single will be 'Cheers' from her recent album 'LOUD'.

The controversial artist has opted for a track that would cause less trouble for her. 'Cheers', a track celebrating the weekend is more chilled and very relaxed type of track. The artwork for the single isn't what we usually expect to see from the Basian singer.

The track was produced by The Runners and also features a sample of Avril Lavigne's hit song, 'Im With You'.

Is this a summer track? Can you see yourself getting ready to this before heading out with your friends on a Friday night?

Listen to 'Cheers' below and let me know what you think.

Breezy and Rowland Tour Coming Soon!

So Kelly Rowland recently let out that she loves how Chris Brown combines dance music and R&B music on his latest album F.A.M.E. And she has also confirmed that the pair will be touring together.

The female singer dropped her third studio album this week and she told Angie Martinez on her radio show that the tour will kick off in September with the 'Look At Me Now' singer.

The ex Destiny's Child singer stated, 'Im also going on tour with Chris Brown in September. I'm so excited about that!'.

As the show is currently being formed, she said: "Getting ready for that show - literally getting ready. I'm sitting up here emailing and all that kind of stuff, finding people now."

As she is not the only excited one, Chris Brown tweeted, 'This Tour is about to be crazzzyyy!'. He added, 'Not releasing the dates yet or the other acts. Don’t wanna count my eggs before they hatch!'.

Looks like Breezy and Rowland have some thing major in store for their fans.

THROWBACK THURSDAY: Backstreet Boys - We've Got It Goin' On!

Last night I was watching a programme about Lou Pearlman. You're probably wondering who he is. Lou Pearlman managed big groups like N*Sync, O-Town, Take Five and today's THROWBACK THURSDAY's, Backstreet Boys.

Watching the documentary on the man that made them and robbed them reminded me of how great this group was. Pearlman never paid the boys the money they earned through all those tours, gigs, merchandise, sales and royalties. Backstreet Boys couldn't do much about it but to come out of their contract to their manager by paying him 30,000 US Dollars. You can see what Lou Pearlman looks like in this video your about to watch. Look for the big fat guy in the studio when Backstreet Boys get on their knee's praying (how ironic right?).

Formed in 1993. The band consisted of AJ, Nick, Brian, Howie and Kevin. With 'We've Got It Goin' On' being their first single, they took to the charts like speeding bullets. Many years later, they were crowned as 'Pops biggest boy band in the world' with hits such as 'Everybody', 'I Want It That Way' and 'As Long As You Love Me' just to name a few.

Here's what I thought was R&B in my younger days. Love this song.

NEW VIDEO: Mz Bratt Ft. Dot Rotten - Speeding By!

Mz Bratt has dropped her new video yesterday and already the views are way past the 7,000 mark.

Video is shot beautifully and Bratt looks cute. In a strange fairy tale, I, Capri Hakeem, actually like the song. I've never really been a fan of the femcee lyrically but this song is actually cool.

I do however feel like that all she does talk about is 'haters' and trying to make a mark some where. Not sure where but I guess she knows where she is making that dent.

Check the video below and let me know what you think.

NEW VIDEO: Pusha T Ft. Tyler The Creator - Trouble On My Mind!

Pusha T has put out an official video for 'Trouble On My Mind' which features Odd Future front man, Tyler The Creator.

The odd pair team up to cause havoc on the streets of Los Angeles by throwing eggs at pedestrians, trashing a hotel room and riding an elderly motorized bike. This all happens in one day. Seems like a fun video shoot.

Watch 'Trouble On My Mind' below and don't forget to comment your views.

Reethym Of Lite - Reebok Commercial!

Bringing the world together seems to be the concept for this mew Reebok Classics commercial. 'International Party' is performed by Swizz Beatz and was assisted by his wife Alicia Keys.

The adrenaline-fueled promo was shot on a soundstage in Los Angeles and mixes fashion, art, dance, and music.

Watch the Commercial and let me know what you think.

Keisha Buchanan's Solo Come Back!

After being booted out of one of the biggest girl bands in the UK, ex Sugababes member, Keisha Buchanan took to the stage last night.

Her first solo performance in a very long time, Buchanan performed many songs including Sugababes hits such as 'Overload' and 'Push The Button' at Jacques Townhouse last night. Also, struggling to cover tracks such as 'Rolling in the Deep' by Adele and her version of 'Girls Wanna Have Fun' by Cindy Lauper with 'Who Run The World' by Beyonce as a breakdown.

Is Keisha Buchanan ready to be in the charts?

I'm not so sure Buchanan got as much hype as she got performing the covers and oldies as she did her own material. Performing songs that were leaked last year, she gave us 3 tracks that are supposedly featured on her forthcoming debut album. 'Carried Away', 'Beautiful Mess' and 'Fearless'.

They weren't nothing special. For a female artist who has been kicked out and shamed in the public media, I would of thought she would of come with something to show her fellow ex members and industry what she is made off and can do on her own. Instead she gave us what I like to call 'basic pop'.

We sure see that her vocal ability isn't weak but it also isn't strong. Maybe she only works better in a band than a solo artist? Or even she may be better as a backing vocalist? Either way, lets hope she actually does come with something substantial.

Watch Keisha perform 'Carried Away' and 'Beautiful Mess' below.

NEW VIDEO: DJ Khaled Ft. Mary J. Blige, Fabolous & Jadakiss - It Ain't Over Til' It's Over!

NEW VIDEO: Beastie Boys Ft. Santigold - Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win!

11 minutes and 9 seconds long of just dolls in the whole video. Beastie Boys have collaborated with the Roc Nation artist Santigold to bring you this action filled song and video.

Interesting concept with characters such as The Abominal Snowman. Plenty of excitment. Watch the elaborate story line play out.

Watch the full length version right here.

Jessie J - New Leaked Music!

New music from Jessie J has leaked which was meant to be for her 2nd album. The 'Do It Like A Dude' singer was said to be very upset that some one could do such a thing.

Jessie J tweeted: "Its a real shame when people feel they have the right to leak an artist songs. Its art and personal... #notcool."

When asked by a fan if she had an idea who was behind it, she tweeted earlier today: "I will never know. Could be anyone from a hacker to someone who has been sent the song once upon a time #Sad
"Fluff it!! Imma just keep writing!! Keep believing and keep working my ass off!! :) yeaaahh man!!"

Keep tellin yourself that girl. Maybe one day music will just magically stop leaking.

Check out both of the songs that leaked 2 days ago right here exclusively.

Jessie J - Without You.

Jessie J - Sometimes Dreams Come True

NEW VIDEO: Ed Sheeran - You Need Me, I Dont Need You!

As I was getting bored of seeing the typical music video's being released, Ed Sheeran has dropped a bomb and gave me some hope in the visual side of music.

Using sign language as the main focus, this video proves that you don't need to be in the limelight and have video girls and flashy bling and cars or better yet, you don't need to be in the video yourself.

Great video for a great song. Watch it below and comment.

JLo Cheated On Husband!

After announcing their marriage break-up, rumours have been spreading like wild fire that the reason of the split between Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony was due to Lopez having an affair with her on screen hubby/model from the her current single 'Im Into You'.

William Levy has denied that he and Lopez had an affair and stated that their relationship was strictly 'proffesional'. Coincidentally, the 30 year old model split from his wife of 8 years one month after the music video was shot.

A representative told TMZ: "The only relationship there was or is, is a professional relationship. That's all there's ever been." When asked what was it like working with JLo, Levy said: "It was wonderful. I felt very comfortable. She is a very sincere and fun person."
He also added: "The truth is I had a really great time. It was wonderful to see that someone so huge could be so down to earth, in addition to being really funny."

So after 3 failed marriages, maybe its time she just stayed single and focused her time to her cute little twins.

NEW VIDEO: Talay Riley - Who's Laughing Now!

Singer/songwriter Talay Riley has put out a cover of Essex singer Jessie J's 'Who's Laughing Now'.

The 'Humanoid' singer was accompanied by a guitarist to perform the song which he also help produce.
He has also written songs for JLS, Tinie Tempah and The Wanted just to name a few.

The singer himself has played me some exclusive songs which sounded absolutely great. I am looking forward to hearing more of this guy.

I love this. Absolutely fantastic. Well done Talay.

Destiny's Child Speak About Reunion!

If this conversation ever happened between Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle, I will go and apologise to Mz Bratt for ever disrespecting her music.

Beyonce: " B*tch you sat there and lip sang yo ass off! B*tch that was a shame to me, that was a shame to my family, that was shame to my perfume, that was a shame to my husband! Then you asking me about numbers b*tch??"

Absolutely hilarious. Watch the video below and let me know what you think.

NEW VIDEO: Bluey Robinson - I Need A Dollar(RMX)!

I've said from the beginning that Bluey Robinson is one of my favourite male vocalists. This South Londoner is flawless when it comes to performing. Not only that, his stage presence and crowd interaction is on point.

Just not long released his first official single 'Showgirl', Bluey hasn't sat back and taken a rest. Straight into work, he has just put out his own remix to Aloe Blacc's 'I Need A Dolla' along with a video. Finally this kid is getting the recognition that he deserves.

Here's Bluey Robinson's 'I Need A Dollar'. Let me know what you guys think.

NEW VIDEO: Spice Ft. Missy Elliott - Fun!

Jamaica's very own Nicki Minaj wannabe, Spice, has released a new track which features hip hop mogul Missy Elliott.

Missy Elliott reminds us just how much we’ve missed her by popping up on a new song. The trailblazing femcee, who is still at work on her long-awaited album Block Party, returns for a moment to wind to the dancehall sounds of Jamaican artist Spice on her summertime single 'Fun'.
The Wash Belly riddim was presented to Missy’s camp and she loved it enough to spit some bars. “Missy really ‘tun up’ the dancehall riddim, she did great,” Spice told the Jamaican Observer.

Listen to the song and watch the video below.

Weezy Covers Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep'!

It was an absolute major achievement for some one as talented and vocally amazing as John Legend to do a cover of 'Rolling In The Deep'. But it doesn't stop there. Lil'Wayne has wanted to collaborate with the British born singer from a long while back.

Weezy shows us that anything is possible on 'Sorry 4 The Wait', the title track off his new mixtape. Mr. Carter samples Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep' while proving why he is one of hip-hop’s best with witty rhymes such as, 'Weezy go hard like Cialis', 'I stink ’cause I got a lot of sh*t on my mind' and 'I stand in front of the clock ’cause I’m ahead of the time'.

NEW MUSIC: DJ Khaled Ft. Chris Brown, Keyshia Cole & Ne-Yo - Legendary!

DJ Khaled rounds up R&B hotshots Chris Brown, Keyshia Cole, and Ne-Yo for a 'Legendary' collaboration on his Cash Money debut We the Best Forever, available Tuesday. Breezy and Keyshia blend their soulful harmonies, while Ne-Yo holds down a solo verse on the anthemic tune. “Don’t let nobody stop the dreams keep winning,” encourages Khaled.

Listen to DJ Khaled featuring Chris Brown, Keyshia Cole and Ne-Yo on 'Legendary'.

NEW MUSIC: Leona Lewis - Collide!

X-Factor winner Leona Lewis comes crashing back at full speed with 'Collide', the first single from her third album, due this November. Penned by Autumn Rowe (Alexis Jordan’s 'Happiness') and produced by Sandy Vee ('Firework', 'S&M'), the piano-driven number builds into a dance floor anthem, with the iron-piped diva belting about feeling an instant chemistry.

“It is a summer song that has a really good vibe,” explained the British songstress. “I just feel like dancing around to it. I love the energy and happiness I feel when I listen to it.”

Does Leona have a smash on her hands? Listen and decide.

NEW MUSIC: Melanie Fiona - Like I Love You!

The beautiful Melanie Fiona has dropped her new song from her upcoming mixtape titled 'The MF Mixtape'. This summer, reggae feel is tantalizing and sweet. Sounding like an upbeat version of Rihanna's 'Man Down', Fiona's lyrics and soothing voice cant help but make me think that she is very under rated.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

NEW MUSIC: Michelle Williams - Love Gun!

Fresh off the theatrical stage, Michelle Williams has been working hard in the studio on her new project, still untitled at the moment. Michelle is following up her #1 Dance album, Unexpected with the buzz single 'Love Gun', produced by Druski.
When asked about the sound of her new album, Michelle says:
“My album will be ‘inspirational pop.’ Think of Katy Perry’s ‘Fireworks’ or Natasha Beddingfeld’s ‘Unwritten.’ I want to give people a message of hope while at the same time get them moving with dance inspired tracks.”
Michelle is currently working with Jim Jonsin and Rico Love, with whom she worked with on Unexpected. Michelle’s album is slated to drop this winter with an official single release in August/September.

INTERNATIONAL MUSIC: Buraka Som Sistema!

Buraka Som Sistema, since the first time I heard them in 2008, I have been hooked on them.
Buraka Som Sistema is an electronic dance music project from Portugal, specializing in a fusion of techno beats with the African kuduro genre, and are generally credited with creating the 'progressive kuduro' variant and have been awarded an MTV European Music Award.

Their first release was From Buraka to the World, an EP released on the Portuguese label Enchufada, which include the single 'Yah!', featuring vocals from Angolan hip-hop MC Petty. It was followed by another Petty vocalized track, 'Wawaba', and a re-release of From Buraka to the World, expanded to a full album.
After touring in several European countries, including playing at the Glastonbury Festival and Roskilde Festival, the three producers released 'Sound of Kuduro' in 2007, which features rapping by M.I.A, DJ Znobia, Saborosa and Puto Prata. The track was a precursor to their second album, Black Diamond, which was released in 2008 by Sony BMG, followed by a new single, 'Kalemba (Wegue Wegue)', with vocals by Pongolove.
Years after many major hits and big events, in May 2011, Buraka Som Sistema have released their latest single 'Hangover (BaBaBa)' with a great video.

NEW MUSIC: Usher Ft. Ciara - Hot Tottie!

It must be really difficult to be competing with other real singers when your only great talent is dance. Ciara has been trying to come back with a hit but still has failed. Jumping on board Usher's hype maybe might of just worked for her but after hearing this version of the original 'Hot Toddy' featuring Jay Z, Usher was definitely wrong for putting Ciara on this new version which sounds exactly like the other one.

Joel Culpepper - New Artist!

I always get asked to review new music or artists. So when at Laughing Boy I was introduced to this guy with big geeky glasses and facial hair that looked like it hasn't seen a razor blade in a while, I instantly thought 'OK great, what now?'. I asked them to send me an email of their work and I will see what I think of it.

When it comes to music, many artists tend to aim for a genre that would bring in the fame and status rather than doing a genre that they feel and love.

Joel Culpepper is taking his music to levels UK music hasn't touched in a very long time. From being a nursery worker to a musician that portrays emotions through beats and lyrics. Culpepper will undoubtedly make a mark in this industry. Inspired by the late J Dilla, Culpepper is determined to bring something new and heartfelt.

Listening to 'Happy Birthday' and 'I Fell' (which already is a favourite of mine), Culpepper has the sweet vocals of Omar and the lyrical flow of Andre 3000.

Whether you are a fan of this genre or not, you can not deny that Joel Culpepper has passion behind his voice. There is a following out there waiting for some one like him to soak them up. I will be looking very much forward to any gigs or new music he has coming up.

Listen and watch the official 'Happy Birthday' video at the bottom.

I am loving 'I Fell'. It reminds me of something Maxwell would do but even then I am not so sure if Maxwell can do it as good as Joel Culpepper. Take a listen to 'I Fell' and watch the video. Let me know what you guys think.

If you think thats great, his version to Cassie and Diddy's 'Must Be Love' is just amazing. Take a listen to what his called it 'Brain Damage'.

Vida - Girlband!

I love fresh talent and new music, so when I heard the name Vida circulating in the music industry, I was very intrigued to find out who they were.

AJ, Cat, Tanisha and Cheekz collectively make Vida. As we know, it is hard to break into the music industry as a solo female artist never mind as a girl group. What do these 4 girls have that we actually haven't seen or heard of yet?

Listening to some of their covers and snippets of tracks they have posted up, they have brought nothing new or original to the table. I am by far confused as to what or who they are in terms of music and people. They say their genre is pop but from what I'm hearing from them, there's also rapping/MC'ing and now I know that is not pop.

Vocally they are pointless. It sounds like a bunch of girls that were bored and just one day decided to come together and 'sing' with no training whatsoever. Even if they could sing, why have they opted for material that does not show case their ability? Have they taken the route of the commercial road and thought it would be easier to breakthrough that way? Or are they seriously happy and confident that their music will set dents in the charts?

Maybe their delusional minds was set up by their manager who just so happens to be JLS member, Oritse. If that is the case, then why has he set up the girls to fail in a major way? Simple, Oritse is dating one of the members, AJ. Supposedly they have been together for a while now. Which makes sense. Its always said that its easier to make it to the top if you sleep with the boss. Not saying that is what their relationship is based on.

Image is very important when your a band. Vida's image is as confused as the look Zoe Slater gave us when she found out Kat was her mother in Eastenders. There is too much going on. So much so that it can give you an epileptic fit. To find that thin line between being different and just 'URGH' isn't that hard. In fact that line isn't thin at all.

I went to show support to my friend Bluey Robinson, who was headlining at Musicalize on Thursday 14th July at Cargo. I had no idea that it was my lucky evening and I was finally going to see the ladies perform live. Perfect time for them to prove me wrong but I kind of got this feeling that AJ and Cat had no idea who I was or what I do now outside my previous work, baring in mind, I've known these girls for a while during the dance scene. Before their performance, I was ear wigging on their interview where they were asked 'What makes you different from Girls Aloud?' to which they answered 'we are much prettier'. Really? Any ways, I was so excited to see them perform, I kept drinking so much water which made me go toilet quite a few times which made me nearly miss the girls performance. Vida were finally on stage and doing their thing. Their thing was just shock horror. I am a very hard critic so I waited to see the whole of their set before I made my final judgement but the crowd around me were making remarks as soon as Vida started their first track which was a cover of Dev's 'Bass Down Low'. 'WOW, what the hell is going on?' and 'I cant listen to this' was just some of the comments being murmured in the audience. Lip syncing isn't a good thing especially if you claim to be good singers.

As two of the members are from a dance background, I expected their stage presence to at least be of perfection. At one point I saw Tanisha and AJ do a routine while Cat and Cheekz just stood there during their single 'Boy In The Corner'. The term 'Hot Mess' really did come to mind at that time.

Without the celebrity manager, would Vida have a chance in this game? Can Vida honestly expect to be in the charts with a single? Will Vida last in this challenging pursuit to stardom? I don't knock any one's hustle, but if I were a Vida girl, I'd put my 'V's' down.

Here's a cover of Chris Browns 'Look At Me Now' that Vida sang on Choice Fm.

David Haye Punches Jamie Howard!

David Haye, once was the Heavyweight Boxing Champion of the World. 'Once' being the operative word.

Comedian/actor Jamie Howard, met up with Haye to show us the intense training he goes through, mentally and physically to prepare for a fight.

Poor little ol' Jamie looked like he was in so much pain when he received the punches in his stomach from Haye. Like a soldier (and out of breathe), Howard does the training and gets on with the interview.

Watch the Gonzo Fit interview between Jamie Howard and David Haye.

THROWBACK THURSDAY: Pink -There You Go!

Pink first came on our screens with 'There You Go' from her debut R&B album entitled 'Cant Take Me Home'.

I don't think there is any one that did not fall for this girls vocals, style and beauty. Pink has the whole package and she charted to the top with endless hits such as 'Most Girls' and 'You Make Me Sick'.

So for my first 'THROWBACK THURSDAY', I couldn't of picked anyone better than this female artist.

Here is Pink with her debut single 'There You Go'.

NEW VIDEO: Duchess Ft. Scorcher - All The Boyz!

'All the boys love, yeah they wanna f#&$ me.' The opening line to their new video, girl group Duchess really seem like they just might of ruined their chances in this game.

'All The Boyz' hasn't been getting many great reviews as it is. Although people do know that the girls can sing, this song just hasn't show cased that strong ability of theirs. With a very auto tuned song, did Duchess really believe this would be the right song to get them noticed?

They say all publicity is good publicity, and from the YouTube comments their debut video has been receiving, I beg to differ. In this case, many listeners and fans are not happy with it. To be honest, I'm very much not happy with it.

It actually upsets me that they have allowed this video to go ahead. Choreography (or whats lack of it), style (or whats lack of it) and confidence/attitude (again, or whats lack of it) is just not there. Shanie seems like the only one that is having fun and is doing what a girl in a girl group should be doing, which is performing with an attitude. The other 3 just seem very oh so not confident and dull.

Whats worried me the most is that I never thought I would listen to Scorcher on a song and he would actually be dope. Which means that 'All The Boyz' has to be the first single to ever make a crap MC sound very good. Sorry Duchess, you are really going to have to sing now and show people that you have vocals.

Watch 'All The Boyz' video by Duchess right here.

NEW VIDEO: Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger!

Finally, the most anticipated music video has arrived. Cher Lloyd is here with her debut video for 'Swagger Jagger'.

It is an absolute shock to see what she has just proven to the people that have doubted her from the beginning. Not only is the song very catchy, but the video is actually very nice.

Cher Lloyd looks stunning in every single shot. From the opening to the end. I personally am not a major fan of the young artist but I love that she brings excitement and controversy to the music scene. This is the one singer I would personally love to interview. So if your reading this Cher and her people's, then make sure you contact me ASAP.

Cher Lloyd's 'Swagger Jagger'.

Yasmin - Accoustic Set - Sanderson Hotel!

After refusing to Q up to get into Scala to see Alexis Jordan supported by Loick Essien and Bluey Robinson, after me and a friend were on the guest list, we decided to head to the Sanderson Hotel to see ex DJ Yasmin do her acoustic set.

Now I know I weren't drunk because I had a glass of apple juice so unless I was spiked then what I was hearing was just comedic.

Looking very pretty, Yasmin took to the stage and performed various tracks which she has released such as her latest production by Labrinth 'Finish Line' and her version to Devlin's 'Runaway'. Although her guitarist was amazing, sadly that was the only good thing that was good to my ears. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, her music sounds slightly better acoustic than anything else.

Sanderson Hotel is not iLuvLive, so the crowd are not as excitable either. During 'Finish Line', she did try to get the crowd involved, but the crowd was, as my friend would say 'DEAD'.

Although she did perform a track I have never heard called '5 Minutes' which was actually very cool. The end of the set, she decided to perform a cover of TLC's 'No Scrubs'. The fact that she said she was going to perform 'an ol skool R&B...' was slightly worrying and to end up being a song like that was just horrible. The combination of Yasmin's vocals and a cheesy song was like a cats claws to a chalk board. Too much screeching is not advisable for the ear drums.

Maybe Yasmin should stick to DJ'ing as she looks absolutely stunning behind a set of decks. Plus I've seen her DJ and she is actually good at it.
