NEW VIDEO: Dj Khaled Ft. Drake, Rick Ross & Lil Wayne - I'm On One!

NEW VIDEO: Lola Monroe - Who Run The World(RMX)!

We've just witnessed one of the worlds top female singers perform at the UK's biggest festival. Glastonbury had Beyonce perform and as she was the first female to ever headline the festival, we were amazed and happy.

Video girl turned rapper, Lola Monroe just released an exclusive remix of Beyonce's 'Who Run The World'. The song and video is just a whole heap of mess. If I ever meet Lola Monroe, I would tell her 'Lola girl you are pretty and pretty awful at music so shut the hell up?'.

Not only did Monroe cover the song but she also did a poor remake of Queen Bey's video. Everything about this release is horrendous. From styling to the gay reject male dancers. If you watch carefully, you surely wont miss the gay fat boy that's out of breathe trying to Vogue. At least get professional dancers.

Some people are not meant to do music. I'm not a fan of video girls but that's one thing Lola Monroe was very good at.

Watch Lola Monroe's remix of 'Who Run The World' and let me know your thoughts.

NEW VIDEO: Starboy Nathan Ft. Wretch32 - Hangover!

Sunny day in the west of end, walking through Soho after a nice early dinner with a friend at the Groucho restaurant. On our way to a bar for some drinks, I see this guy looking at me strangely. Closer I got to this fella, I realise its non other than Starboy Nathan.

Dressed in a white shirt, black trousers and skinny tie, Nathan and me start talking and he fills me in that his actually shooting his new video to 'Hangover' just round the corner. Asked me and my friend to come join him at the shoot for a bit, but if you know me then you will certainly know that I prefer to be at a bar watching a video than be in one drinking water.

'Hangover' features newly chart topper Wretch32. Its a typical 'Starboy Nathan' kind of track and what I mean is that its a club banger, poppy and has a catchy chorus. Something that Nathan is known for.

The video is crazy. I actually love the video more than I do the song. With dance group like Animaneax doing a choreography on the streets with the singer to the toilet scene where Nathan looks like his getting up to some thing naughty. All of it is great.

Will Starboy Nathan make it this time round or will he disappear again after a few tracks?

NEW VIDEO: Estelle - Break My Heart!

Estelle has released a video to her new single 'Break My Heart' from her new album, 'All Of Me'. I loved this song when I first heard it a couple months ago. Its a summer banger.

The video I'm not so sure about. I don't hate it at all but it kind of gave me a headache with all the changing of scene's. I understand that its supposed to be 'ART' and all that jazz.

Also, either photo shop has released a super new version or Estelle has become pretty all of a sudden. Who would of thought that she would look 'aight' in a swim suit? Whatever she is taking or doing, she needs to keep it up. Usually I can't focus on anything else but her teeth. In this case, I saw a pretty smile. Bless her chocolate skin.

Here's the video to Estelle featuring Rick Ross in 'Break My Heart'.

NEW MUSIC: David Guetta - Little Bad Girl (Feat. Taio Cruz & Ludacris)!

NEW MUSIC: Drake - Trust Issues!

NEW MUSIC: Alicia Keys - Typewriter!

NEW MUSIC: Mario - My Bed!

NEW MUSIC: Beyonce - Schoolin' Life!

Aaliyah Inspired Shoot!

Looking through some new celeb photo shoots that got sent to me. I came across one female singer's new pictures and thought to myself 'this looks mighty familiar'. So I did my research.

Beyonce just released some rather, very cultural pictures. Looking at them, I cant help but think that this was inspired by the late Aaliyah Haughton. It could be me looking into it very deeply.

Queen Of The Damned, a movie starring Aaliyah is about a female blood sucking vampire. The look she had in that film is freakishly similar to what Beyonce is portraying.

Compare the two and let me know your thoughts.

Jessie J - Oh Dear!

Poor old Jessica Cornish formerly known as Jessie J has a broken foot. The 'Do It Like A Dude' singer injured herself during rehearsals for Capital FM Summertime Ball.

She has been hobbling around on her injured foot for the past week after initially being told that it was a torn ligament when she was taken to hospital on June 11. But now, after returning to hospital for a series of scans, Jessie has been informed that her foot is actually broken.

Jessie put on Twitter: "I am back in the U.K. I didn't Tweet all day yesterday as I was at the hospital having scans on my foot! To get a specific diagnosis... Turns out I've been hobbling around with a broken foot."

Poor old Jess, but can we talk about the hair for a minute? It has taken me a while to get used to the Mystic Meg do and now I am struggling to see the pretty side of this extensions that she has. Lets all be honest, Jessie J isn't the most stunning girl we've seen but she has this unique look which works. I think she should go back to her old hair style. Thanks.

Beyonce VS Capri!

Since I have been asked to interview Beyonce at Glastonbury on Sunday, I've been really relaxed and calm about it compared to many of my friends, who are very excited and anxious to see what my review on her will be.

In terms of me being very crucial and controversial with the 'Single Ladies' singer, you can forget that as I've been on strict orders not to ask any thing she may not like to be asked. Which means, I can not be myself and Dark Days & Bright Nights is thrown out the window. If you know me and what the purpose of my blog is about then you will know doubt know that I will, however, be writing an article on how I perceived the interview and her as a person.

We've all seen a Beyonce interview before and we know that she always comes across very robotic and very well media trained. I will break that barrier to my best ability when I do get to meet her.

Beyonce has kicked off her European Tour this week in Nice, France. By the time she gets to Somerset for her special gig at Glastonbury, which she has been rehearsing in a secret venue in East London, she would of done many interviews and press releases.

Its said that she will be laying out all her dirt on Piers Morgans show. The interview will be televised on the 27th of June. The same day that the titled album '4' will be released in the US and a day before its released here in the UK.

I will do my best and provide my readers what they need to hear and learn about Bey. This will be a battle I will win.

Duchess - Girlband!

Shanie, Nadine, Jamie Lisa and Annie Rae, together they are Duchess. A new girl group from London. But do we need a new one?

There have been many girl groups who have come and gone. What have Duchess got that's different from the rest? Firstly, they can actually sing and I'm not talking about the lucky note that some people hit but their harmonies are tight. But that's still not enough to make them different from other groups. They also look good too. Natural beauties. Again, beauty can only get you so far.

I've listened and watched their YouTube video's, video diary's and thought 'WOW, the chemistry between these girls is amazing'. I also listened to their first official single entitled 'All The Boyz' which features grime artist Scorcher. Take a listen to it.

At the moment there isn't a girl group out there doing the whole Pop/R&B music. With a deep base and catchy chorus, 'All The Boyz' just might fill up a dance floor. However, I personally am not excited about this song.

After hearing their A64 of 'Dont Ever Come Back' on SB.TV, I was amazed that they chose 'All The Boyz' as their single. Understandable, your first single has to come out with a bang but there's people like me who appreciate good music and don't get phased by something a label might think is a banger but really is just commercial. I am still waiting for a girl group to show me something different. Yes Duchess might have the looks and the beautiful vocals to match, but will they be as different and make a difference in girl band history like the Spice Girls did? We just have to wait and see. In the mean time listen to 'Dont Ever Come Back' right here.

You can follow Duchess's twitter on http://www.twitter.com/officialduchess and keep up to date with their movement.

Come Back Winehouse!

Amy Winehouse kicked off her tour last week and what was supposedly meant to be amazing, turned out to be a nightmare.

Recently the 'Back To Black' singer performed at Belgrade and got booed. Watching the video, I wonder how her label/management allowed the tour to go ahead when Winehouse clearly isnt at her best.

To see an artist, who was once classed at 'a legue of her own' go from being incredible to some one that is not only sounding dreadful but also looking very unhealthy. Winehouse looks and feels uncomfortable on stage. I feel uncomfortable watching the video.

How is it possible to get to that stage? Winehouse obviously needs help and all those medications and rehab she was recieving now just seems like it was false. So it makes me wonder. A tour was kicking off which means there must of been intense training and rehearsals. During that time, how was she and was she normal?

In the video, you see that Winehouse comes across like a timid and nervous child. Not remembering the words to her song and slurring. Towards the end of the performance, her friend/back-up singer Zalon checks to see if she is ok.

Let us hope that Amy Winehouse gets the proper help she needs and does come back to her normal self. She had a major influence in the UK music scene and I personally would like to remember her as an astounding vocalist and not for mis-use of drugs and alcohol.

Here's Amy Winehouse trying to perform 'Back To Black'

Top 5 Worst Music Of 2011!

Every body is usually on a hype about the UK bringing out so much amazing talent this year. With the excitement of Wretch32 and Example both getting to number 1, I wanted to show you guys that there are many music video/songs out there that are dreadful. Some of these artists have been around for a while and some you may even recognise.

Now who would of thought that a drag queen named Paris King would have a video on MTV? This is Paris King versus Lucky Date - Scream.

Sorry, can some one please explain to me what is going on with this video and what are they actually on about? I think the 2 guys are actually dating. Their secretly talking about each other. This is just too weird for me. This is Sean Reid Ft Cash - All I Need Is.

As a writer and producer maybe, but Donaeo is really not going to tell us about 'style' is he? Really? Bathing Ape, True Religions, Air Force 1's and Zara shirt? What year is this? I think people have come past that same way people have stopped using the word 'swagger'. This is Donaeo - Check My Swagger Out.

Kids talking about love, sex and first dates? Wait? This is actually for real. Rascals, a bunch of boys who haven't even hit puberty and probably never seen breasts other than their mums are talking about a girls inviting them back to their house? She's 11 just like you children. I think these kids are the off springs of Blazin Squad. This is Rascals - First Date.

The final worst video of 2011 was a difficult one to pick. It was either Chipmunk Ft.Trey Songz - Take Off but there was something worse. 'Love Drunk' singer, Loick Essien topped it with his new single 'How We Roll'. I know some of you might be thinking, 'but why Capz?'. Yes this is hard to digest but so is the song and video. His a talented guy but no need to compare yourself to the ginger bread man. This is Loick Essien Ft. Tanya Lacey - How We Roll.

Congratulatons to those 5 whack song/video's we were so not blessed with this year for making it some where on our TV's. Also congratulations to the other artists that just missed the mark. Maybe you will get up there next year.

Wiley - New Album!

Grime's trouble maker Wiley, has been very busy lately.

'100% Publishing', Wiley's anticipated album will be released next week after being brought forward from its original July date.

The new LP has been written and produced by Wiley with blessings from a Young Money member Drake. The 'Best I Ever Had' rapper supposedly flew Wiley to Toronto to record his album at the Canadian born rappers house.

As if that weren't keeping him distracted, he will also be releasing an EP entitled 'Evolve Or Be Extinct' which is due to be released later on in the summer.

Wiley's current single 'Numbers In Action' is out right now.

Tulisa Contostavlos - 'In Tears'!

Being a judge on one of the biggest TV talent shows in the UK might have its perks but can also be hard work.

During the recent auditions, Tulisa was said to be close to tears after the audience booed her during the X-Factor auditions.

The young singer was not getting a good reception from the audience when she criticised a contestant. Laverne Scott-Roberts was told by Tulisa that she was "connecting with the audience" even though fellow judge Gary Barlow disagreed.

The Mirror has reported that, Gary replied: "I don't know what you're going on about, Tulisa," prompting the audience to begin chanting "Bring back Cheryl, bring back Cheryl" causing Tulisa to become tearful.

Is Tulisa really as strong as she portrays herself to be? Or is she really a big softy at heart?

NEW VIDEO: Encore - Tit For Tat!

NEW MUSIC: Jojo - Marvin's Room (Drake Cover)!

The ever so little and cute Jojo has become this fiesty young lady. She has been away for a very long time and now she is here with a cover of Drake's 'Marvin's Room'.

With over 11 million views in under 11 hours, Drake's views are out numbered. I am hoping that there will be a video to this, as it is time for Jojo to come out of hibernaion.

Here's her version of Drake's 'Marvin's Room'. Let me know what you think?

NEW MUSIC: Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger!

X-Factor contestant Cher Lloyd's official first single 'Swagger Jagger' has leaked today. Supposedly this is not the final version of the song. The young superstar has caused a lot controversy on the show. She has now been recording with the likes of Busta Rhymes, Will.I.Am and Nicki Minaj.

I think Cher Lloyd can put many artists getting very comfortable in their positions to shame. She may not be the best singer out there, but her stage presence and delivery is excellent for a 17year old. Already, many people are comparing her style and 'swagger' to Jessie J. Obviously, if you have watched the talent show, you will realise that the 2 artists seem to pull the funny 'I'm so hooooood' look while singing.

With her new image, Cher Lloyd just might be the one to bring excitement and something new to the charts.

'Swagger Jagger' was due to be released in September but here is an exclusive audio just for my readers.

NEW VIDEO: XO Man - Follow Fashion!

The friendly giant only known as XO Man has put out a video documentary for his brand new single, 'Follow Fashion'.

Other than his obvious height, he is known for his style and choice of words he uses to describe his manhood. Catchy hooks, deep verses and a crazy bass, 'Follow Fashion' has come out at a time where originality seems to have disappeared and being different is considered not 'IN'.

Along with Mikill Pane, Master Shortie and Sincere, this song will make you think about your wardrobe and way of living. The video is simple an effective. No need for graphics and girls booty shaking. Straight to the point. Although I can't help but think, if there was a budget, would XO Man have taken the same route as he did with this video or gone with something totally different?

Who has the best verse? You decide.

NEW VIDEO: Roxxxan Ft. L & Benny Banks - Tear!

This is what she meant when she said on 'Female Takeover' "Roxxxan prepare for when I land". And she has landed hard. Perfect track to come out with. And you cant go wrong with one of the UK's best male vocals, L.

NEW VIDEO: Marsha Ambrosius - Late Nights & Early Mornings!

Beautiful song. Beautiful video. Positive message. Wonderful artist with an amazing voice.

Marsha Ambrosius is back again with a hard hitting video. This lady is not only providing us with heavenly sounds to our ears but also showing and teaching us about our surroundings and whats right and wrong.

Here's her new video 'Late Nights &  Early Mornings'.

NEW MUSIC: Emeli Sande - Heaven!

Having worked with Chipmunk, Wiley, Tinchy Stryder and Tinie Tempah, Emeli Sande has released new single 'Heaven'. A euphoric, dance track for a perfect sunny day.

Alexanadra Burke Leaves Simon Cowell!

Circulating the industry at the moment is that Alex Burke has left Simon Cowell's label SyCo and has signed with RCA.

The 'Bad Boy' singer has been signed to SyCo since she won the TV show X-Factor in 2008. It is believed that she has permanently cut ties with SyCo. It was originally thought that Alex would be recording her upcoming second album in a joint deal with SyCo and RCA, however, it has now been claimed that she will solely be signed to RCA.

Alex's brother David made the announcement on Twitter: "Really happy, Alexandra has officially moved RCA records for new album era. Fingers crossed for progression and improved efficiency."

Lets all remember this is the same brother that was caught selling drugs to celebrities in Mayfair clubs.

He then went onto tweet,"I'd like to thank SyCo for the part they played until this point, but pastures new was required for potential progression going forward.".

Either way, will Alex Burke be better NOW or will she still be putting out 'yawn' music? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Nicola Roberts - Don't Do This Again, Ever!

So Cheryl Cole does alright as a solo artist and the rest of the Girls Aloud rejects want to attempt the same thing?

If Kimberly Walsh and Nadine Coyle failed then why did ginger Nicola Roberts think she would have any chance in being better?

Her new song 'Beat of My Drum' sounds like something that was created whilst half asleep. Since when did she try and attempt to shake her booty like that? The video concept and style makes no sense.

Heres the video at the bottom, let me know what you think.

Plan B - '...You Can F*ck Off Jay Z'!

Plan B aka Ben Drew, is at the peak of his career at the moment. Gigs after gigs, festivals after festivals and travelling all around the world to be doing what he loves best.

May be collaborating with one of the worlds biggest rappers like Jay Z would just be amazing for him? The 'Love Goes Down' singer has reportedly told his label that he will not allow Jay Z to rap on any of his records even though the bosses thought that it would boost his popularity in the states.

At Ibiza Rocks where Plan B was headlining, he told The Sun: "I was like, 'OK, but where we gonna put him?'

"Obviously, he doesn't sing so they thought he could do my (rapping) bits and I was like, 'Nah, you can f*ck off. No way. Not happening.' It's no big deal but people aren't forcing things. If I'm too black for the white stations and too white for black stations then I'm f*cking over there anyway, ain't I?"

Is this a bad decision Plan B will regret later on or has it done the right thing?

Bluey Robinson - Showgirl!

Beautiful people, party scene, sunny day and Made In Chelsea's sexiest female Funda as the main girl. Sounds like a perfect combination for a great music video. In this case, all that combined didnt really work.

'Showgirl', Bluey Robinsons official first single has a great vibe to it. Great production and sweet harmonies so I kind of expected the video to be the same. Its not a major proble as im a firm believer that not matter how much of a big budget you have or have the greatest director, you can never always be happy with your first video.

This isnt the end for this young talent. With vocals that sharp, dreadlocks and being a 'lighty', Bluey's career has just started.

'Showgirl' is already out and ready for you to purchase. But check out the video at the bottom and let me know what you think.

Labrinth - Too Far Ahead!

Producer, Singer and songwriter, Labrinth is the young genius who kick pushed Tinie Tempah to where he is with 'Pass Out' and 'Frisky'. That was just the beginning of success Labrinth was about to experience.

Labrinth or better known to his mother as Timothy McKenzie has worked with many artists. Starting with Master Shortie, Professor Green, Preeya Kalidas, JLS, Bluey Robinson, Jessie J and so on.

With his first solo official single 'Let The Sun Shine', which reached in the UK charts at # 3 was a sample of what this young talent has to offer.

This guy can be called a genius when it comes to producing tracks. Being compared to legends as Timbaland and Pharrel, Labrinth has his own unique sound. Which is way Simon Cowell signed him up quickly.

Young and humble, Labrinth can probably make the Cheeky Girls sound better than Mz Bratt. If your career was known as 'DEAD' like Ms Dynamite's was, then have no worries as his just brought her back to life with her new single 'Neva Soft'. He is way too far ahead of any producer in the UK.

Listen to Ms Dynamite's 'Neva Soft' produced by Labrinth.

Jessie J - '...I Have No Boobs'!

Jessie J, one of the UK's biggest female singer/songwriter has admitted that it took her a very long time to get used to her body image and that was due to her flat chest.

"It's taken me a long time to feel confident in my body. I had to get used to the fact that I have no boobs. Now I embrace it. I always get my feet done to make myself feel better even if people can't see them," she explained.

The star, who performed on last night's 'Britain's Got Talent' also added: "I was addicted to blusher, but in an unhealthy way, where I looked burnt! And I do love a drag-queen eyebrow. I don't pluck mine, I just tidy them up every now and then."

Also in the interview with UK's Cosmopolitan magazine, the London singer said: "I've never really thought of myself as anything. I don't think I'm classically pretty, I think I'm unusual-looking."

Without a face full of make-up, Jessie J thinks that people will be unable to recognise her, she said: "I'm totally unrecognisable! I'm happy to expose the fact that I don't look like I do when I wear makeup. People think as soon as you get signed you look great all the time, but it's not the case."

Come on now Jessie baby. We all know now it is best to look 'unusual'. Which is why you play with it so well.

Cherri V - About Time!

Maybe I like certain artists to sing a certain way? Maybe I hear something within an artists vocals and have an instinct to know what kind of music genre they should be singing?

'Greedy Eyes' by Cherri V is exactly the kind of music she should be putting out. This song is actually great. Far better than some of the other songs she has put out. Her voice on this is absolutely sweet.

A simple video is what it needed and she delivered that. No hype. Straight raw vocals. But why has it taken her this long to come back to this style of music? Whatever gave her a push, it needs to keep pushing her in that same right direction.

Some people might think 'but I thought Capri and Cherri V have beef?'. Not at all. That whole saga has ended. I doubt very much I'm that much of an importance to Cherri V's life. I will say that, as I'm writing this, I'm currently listening to 'Greedy Eyes'. I don't know when, but I will purchase this.

If you want to see Cherri V live and have a good time, make sure you come to Laughing Boy on 27th June at the Brickhouse in Bricklane.

Watch the video viral to 'Greedy Eyes'.

Beauty Skool Dropouts - Girl Band!

Let me be the first to introduce you to a brand new girl group that bring back fun and excitement through your speakers. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Beauty Skool Dropouts

Kimmy, Chang and Sindy are 3 friends who have come together to show you that music is fun. 'Mr Men', being their first official single to be released ever any where, has already got 2,407 views in just 2 days.

Originally dancers, these 3 have already experienced the stage life and TV from performing in West End musicals such as 'Into The Hoods', dancing for Rihanna and Streetdance 3D the movie. Everything they touch seems to turn into a success and right now the music scene is their playground.

Girl groups don't usually have a good streak in the industry but I believe BSD have something others fail to possess. Chang says: 'Were fun, quirky and ourselves. We are heavily involved in everything we do regarding the group. I believe that we are the next big thing since the Spice Girls'.

Remember where you heard of them first and look out for their official video to 'Mr Men' on Dark Days & Bright Nights.

To get in contact with BSD, click https://twitter.com/bsdofficial and keep up to date with them.

X-Factor Fashion Fail.

X-Factor is back and with 2 new female judges it should be great right? NO!

As we know, Danni Minogue and Cheryl Cole who are no longer on the panel, used to be looked out for in terms of their style and what they would be wearing. So I expected that Tulisa 'Ya Get Me Tho Fam' Contostavlos and Kelly 'I Love Beyonce, NOT!' Rowland would keep the fashion alive just murdered it.

Tulisa came to the Birmingham Auditions in a v-neck jumpsuit with red dots, red sandal heels and what seemed to look like a backward quiff up do? Kelly Rowland wasn't any better either, her top half seemed like she killed and skinned Big Bird and created a tank top to go with a skirt that made no sense, Christian Louboutin black heels and an Indian girls her.

Are we expecting these 2 to show us what fashion on the X-Factor really is? I very much doubt people will be talking about it after the show is done on Saturday night. I hope very much that the X-Factor stylist sort them out and very quickly before we all have a stroke.

Rihanna Takes It Up A Notch!

She has been criticised for her video's lately such as 'S&M' and as her new single address's the topic of gunning a man down, I was ready to see what the red-haired songstress had in store for us.

'Man Down' a reggae track, which was co-written with R&B star Shontelle Layne, speaks of Rihanna shooting a man down. Listening to the song you assume the man killed is a lover of Rihanna who maybe cheated or hurt her some way to which she ends his life and confides to her mum.

Watching the video I was bored for the first 4mins of it and the length is only 5mins and 40secs long, which is way past the half mark post. It conveys a pretty Rihanna living, what I assume a typical life lead by a young girl in Jamaica. Bike riding, taking a stroll with her girlfriends chit chatting (probably discussing the latest bleached cream or what colour weave she should purchase next). Simple life.

She takes the video to a next level when it shows her at a house party and is dancing with a fellow yardy fella. As she leaves the party, she is followed by the same guy who later rapes her. Its a hard subject to tackle and Rihanna did it very well.

Rape is a topic which is not talked about. Yes we see it on TV soaps and Crimewatch and we probably hear stories. Between 75% and 95% of rape crimes are never reported to the police because majority of the victims believe it is a personal or private matter, and that they fear reprisal from the assailant.

RiRi tweeted about the new video for the reggae track, she wrote: “Very strong underlying message 4 girls like me! #listentoyomama."....

After watching the video, I have an even more respect and love for the Barbadian beauty.

Here's the video to 'Man Down'. Let me know your thoughts on it and the topic itself.
