Jessie J To Feel Pain On New Album!

It seems as though the 'Do It Like A Dude' singer Jessie J has been inspired by Adele and decided that on her new album she will be delving into the deeper side of her life.

"[Adele] said she's worried everyone thinks she's always going to be this broken-hearted woman because of the songs on 21. Those songs were just a moment in Adele's life and that's what music should be, a moment in time, an exaggeration of that moment condensed into a three-minute song." - Jessie J

So what exactly does Jessie J mean that her new album will explore more pain? In an interview with the Daily Star, she explains: 'There'll be a lot more pain in the lyrics on my next album. For the seven years before I signed my record deal I was in a bad place and I was scared that I couldn't get out of it. That's why I wrote such upbeat music, as a way of trying to escape how I felt. I want to explore every aspect of music more on the next album, from different styles to my voice to what I sing about to who I get to duet with.'

One of the reasons why Adele's 21 and even 19 was a global hit was because her pain was believable and executed immaculately. Her fans felt what she said and instantly could relate. Jessie J clearly has an amazing voice but the music just doesn't suit it. Plus, at times I feel like she's trying hard to be weird like Gaga and step out of this trying to 'fit in' thing. I'm up for hearing something different from the songstress and I'm even looking forward to seeing her embrace that vulnerable side of her vocals. I'm sure if she does it correctly, she will be bigger than what she is.

NEW MUSIC: Beyonce - End Of Time (Remixes)!

After seeing Beyonce perform 'End Of Time' at Glastonbury this year, it instantly became my favourite track from the album 4. Now the singer has released a bunch of remixes to the fans favourite song.

'End Of Time' should of really been Beyonce's lead single but instead we had to relish in the underwhelming 'Girls (Run The World)'. Its a shame that 'End Of Time' wont be released with a video and I very much doubt that it will ever happen as she has already dropped seven from the current album 4.

There's rumours being whispered that Beyonce is in the studio working on a new album. Still, we now have many versions of our favourite song to enjoy.

Jessie J - Domino

Jessie J's 'Domino' video has finally premiered today.

'Domino' is from the re-released platinum edition of her debut album Who You Are and the track has peaked #28 on the Billboard Hot 100 since its release in the winter.

The Katy Perry knock-off track is an OK song but I did expect the video to be amazing and it wasn't. Clearly the recession has hit the budget to this video. With plenty of costume changes and brightly coloured wigs, the video doesn't get more creative than that.

Just like the song, the video left me feeling un-satisfied. Watch it and let me know what you think.

NEW VIDEO: Clement Marfo & The Frontline Ft. Kano -Mayhem (BTS)!

7 piece band from South London, Clement Marfo & The Frontline have been on a mission to emerge rock and hip hop into one. Is this a goal they can easily accomplish?

2011 has seen CMTF reach levels no other band have. With their previous singles such as 'Champion' and 'Overtime' featuring grime MC Ghetts circulating in the music industry faster than Sonic can say 'BOOM', they have shown that hard-work can truly pay off.

Their new single 'Mayhem' featuring Kano will be released some time in the new year and the video was not long ago finished filming. CMTF have released a behind the scenes of making the video and already I am excited to see what the finished product will look like.

This band are on a league of their own and I have said this from a long time ago. Stage presence and their music is absolutely amazing. With front man Clement Marfo stage diving to listening to their catchy chorus's sung my Mr Kojo, they are the perfect product.

Watch the behind the scene's video and let me know what you think.

NEW VIDEO: Rihanna - You Da One!

Rihanna has just premiered the video to her second single 'You Da One' from the Talk That Talk album and its a video that will blow your mind, well the guys any way.

Crotch grabbing, lip licking and loads of grinding, the soft porn like, black and white video has elements of 'Rudeboy' and 'Umbrella' but lacks the flawlessness of those ones. From the pictures and the behind the scene's footage we have seen already, the video was missing all those vibrant colours we were exposed too.

Although I love it, obviously 'You Da One' is the weakest song from the album and I do think they could of given the video a more cute romantic feel. Talk That Talk was recorded while the songstress was on tour and she also suffered exhaustion while making this video and touring.

Watch the video and let me know what you think.

NEW VIDEO: Timbaland Bares It All!

A 45-minute journey into the most hard working producer Timbaland's life.

The hip hop musician reveals many things such as the time he contemplated committing suicide and the love he had for the late Aaliyah.

Special guests featured in this documentary are Justin Timberlake, Keri Hilson, Missy Elliott, Pharrell and his wife and parents.

Watch the documentary and let me know your thoughts.

Tulisa To Release Autobiography!

A close source has told me today that 1/3 of NDubz and X-Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has announced that she will release an autobiography at the age of 23.

Its been a great year for the singer, which saw her embark on a UK arena tour which was very successful, being a judge on the UK's biggest TV show X-Factor and winning not only her first time but with a (girl) group. So she has achieved so much in this year but I didn't realise accomplishing those things meant you were entitled to write a book about your life?

Apparently the book will be about her rise to fame and will also detail how she coped with her mother's illness, and she already agreed the rights for photo's from her childhood to be used in her book.

I personally don't think Tulisa should release an autobiography yet. X-Factor judges have all done it and it did well but why not wait couple more years and then do it? Alexandra Burke's autobiography did not do well at all. Being sold for £1 is just proof that an autobiography at the age of 23 isn't worth reading, not saying that Tulisa and Alexandra Burke are any where on the same level.

What do you guys think? Let me know your opinions.

Jennifer Hudson VS Precious!

Gabourey Sidibe who played the character Precious in the self titled movie did an outstanding job, but what if she didn't get the role and instead ex American Idol/actress Jennifer Hudson did?

Well the story is that the role of Precious was originally offered to Hudson but turned it down because she did not want to pile on the weight. The 30 year old had to gain weight for her character Effie in Dreamgirls in 2008. It took her the next 2 years for her to get rid of the weight so its no surprise why she turned down the role.

In her new book I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down she says. 'I had done that with Effie, and as much as I was moved by this film, I wanted to try a role that had nothing whatsoever to do with my weight.'

How would the film of turned out if Jennifer Hudson had taken the role?

Rihanna Hits Gold!

It seems as though Rihanna is not thinking of stopping her chart success any time soon.

Her new album Talk That Talk has just been certified gold by the RIAA. With the album already selling 400k since its release, she will easily surpass 500k by the end of next month. For someone like Alexandra Burke who just about sold 4 million units (that's a shame), reaching 500k is a doddle to RiRi.

The first single 'We Found Love' from Talk That Talk, has now become her biggest hit carrying on with its #1 domination for the eighth week running on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Produced by Calvin Harris, the dance track beat 'Umbrella' and 'Love The Way You Lie' which both topped the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart for seven weeks. Rihanna is doing great despite the fact that many people want to curse her for not being able to sing or dance as good as Beyonce. Illuminati or not, she has achieved well and deserves a pat on the back. Well done.

NEW VIDEO: Rihanna - You Da One (Behind The Scene's)!

Over a month ago I said that the next single Rihanna would be releasing would be 'You Da One' and my prediction was correct.

Rihanna's team have posted a clip of the making of the video which was filmed in London. Blonde wigs, PVC dungaree's, bowler hats and walking sticks are just some the things featured in the video.

With the tour coming to an end, Rihanna has also announced that the last 3 days of the tour will be filmed for a DVD that will be released some time next year. So for those that missed her shows, this is your chance to see what happened.

Watch the behind the scene's video and let me know what you think.

Cher Lloyd And LA Reid!

LA Reid has made artists such as TLC, Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton, Pink and Usher successful. Now LA thinks he can do the same for X-Factor runner up Cher Lloyd.

Lloyd announced on Daybreak that she is now signed to LA Reid's label Epic Records. A US deal could be good for the 'Swagger Jagger' singer but then again are the US ready for some one like her? Who knows but she is growing on me, then again I actually liked her on X-Factor when she had a couple of good notes that is.

Rihanna Cant Keep It In!

The beautiful Rihanna was in Lisbon this weekend finishing off her LOUD Tour where she wont be remembered for her provocative lyrics and half naked dancers but more for her running of stage and vomiting.

During her performance of 'What's My Name', the singer at a point starts to feel dodgy when she then kind of does a gesture pointing out that she may be about to be sick. You can see this in the video below.

Just before the dance breakdown, Rihanna in a calm manner gets off stage to bring back up what she had ate but like a trooper she does come back on stage just before the next song 'Rudeboy' is on.

From 1:25 into the video you will say the action start.

Is she working herself too hard? This isn't the first time that RiRi has been feeling unwell and she may be following in the foot steps of her idol Mariah Carey and exhaust herself. What Rihanna needs to do is rest and relax herself before she has a breakdown.

Capri Interviews StooShe!

I had the opportunity to meet and sit with Warner’s new signing, Stooshe. Three, brightly coloured and very energetic girls from South East London who are far from your ‘ordinary’ girl group. This was my chance to find out what the controversial trio had in store for us and find out who Karis, Alex and Courtney really are.

Sitting on a very fresh white couch, the girls seemed very relaxed as they ate on some croissants while drinking a bottle of water. It was after all 11am. They greeted me with hugs and kisses as I took to my seat and got ready to kick start this interview.

Capri: Hi girls? How are you this morning?

Karis: Morning Capri. Were all good this morning actually. Not too tired. I think were used to getting up so early in the morning now.

Capri: I can see you guys are looking very awake, fresh and bright. Tell me how StooShe met?

Alex: Well me and Courtney were spotted in Top Shop and was introduced to each other by this crazy stylist who is friends with our producer. Randomly the stylist said to me “can you sing? I like the way you look”.
Courtney: I was half naked in the changing room when this woman asked me if I can sing and I didn’t really take her seriously. I was thinking why is some one asking me if I can sing in a changing room while I’m half naked. In the end I gave her my details and that was it.
Karis: I knew our producer before, from Myspace days when I used to upload clips of me singing (giggles). And the stylist called me up when I was hungover on New Years day.

Capri: Which is my birthday just so know.

StooShe: Really?
Alex: Oh my god that’s soon as well (Karis and Courtney laugh hysterically at Alex as if nobody knew were in mid December).
Karis: Yeah so the stylist asked me if I wanted to be in a girl band and I was like I don’t really know but I kind of agreed. Then I met these two and we had to learn and rehearse a song together in a day. She left us in a room where we had to choreograph a dance routine and learn this new song.
Alex: She said we had to perform together and show her what we came up with. So we were literally together for an hour at that time.

Capri: So what song did you cover?

Karis: It wasn’t a cover we did. It was a song they had already done and wanted us to do. She had this song and she had this vision for it. She just gave us the music but the song had melodies on it and everything but we had to make up the lyrics.
Alex: Our dance routine was like Motown(y). The Supremes moves so it all come naturally to all of us. Were all from South East and we all strangely enough have mutual friends in common.

Capri: So what’s the meaning behind your name, StooShe?

Alex: When we looked in the Urban Dictionary we saw that ‘Stush’ meant expensive, hidden away and stoned and a few days ago Karis found an actuall meaning for the word ‘Stooshe. Were not sure if some one put it up because of us but it supposedly means ‘causing havoc’.
Karis: I saw it on Google and it was spelt the same way we spell our name but I know it wasn’t there before when I checked online.

Capri: Do you think it’s a perfect meaning for you? Do you guys cause havoc?

Karis: In terms of the music I think we do but us three personally were just very nice girls.
Courtney: We don’t have any kind of barrier when it comes to our music to be honest and that includes with dressing and talking. Its just that were not staying in box that’s all.
Karis: And the ‘She’ in StooShe is there for female empowerment and we like the meaning of causing havoc.

Capri: I want the readers to get to you know you personally so what kind of music do you listen to? Starting with Courtney.

Courtney: I like to listen to things from back in the day like The Temptations, The Supremes. I tend to study the Dreamgirls (film starring Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Hudson and Eddie Murphy). I like that kind of era and obviously whats going on now, staying upto date with artists such as Wretch32 and Emeli Sande even Shirley Bassey. I actually want her to be my nan (laughs). Imagine Shirley Bassey and Tina Turner being your nan? I would love that.
Karis: I’m into Rap music. Heavily into rap. If you listen to my iPod that’s all I have on it. I like old skool hip hop. I love commercial hip hop, its cool but I prefer the old skool stuff. I really appreciate a good lyracists.

Capri: Who’s your favourite rapper?

Karis: I love Young Jeezy at the moment. I love his voice. I really want to marry is voice. I just want to hear him every morning when I get up.
Alex: I’m very similar to Courtney, we both grew up listening to Motown music and my mum sings and she used to sing Diana Ross. Love Salt’n’Pepa and TLC. We even did a cover of Salt’n’Pepa’s ‘Whatta Man’ but we kind of slowed it down and made it our own.

Capri: Now that we know what music you all are into, is there any one that you would like to do a track with or feature?

Karis: Any one that just likes to have fun obviously artists like Jay Z, Kanye West and Beyonce.
Alex: As long as its some one that works hard to get to where they are then we appreciate that.

Capri: There’s plenty of girl groups coming up at the moment such as Vida, Duchess, Parade and X-Factor winners Little Mix. What is it that makes you stand out from the other groups.

Courtney: All the girl bands are doing their own little thing staying in their own lane really There’s enough space for everyone to do what they love.

Capri: Do you see any of them as competition?

Karis: There’s JLS. The Wanted and 1Direction and their all different so why cant there be a mixture of girl groups? There’s room for every one.
Alex: You shouldn’t really see each other as competition but as UK standing up together and embracing each other. Were all doing the same thing, trying to achieve the same goal. No point in fighting because its just going to be messy.

Capri: ‘Betty Woz Gone’ is a very serious song lyrically. Who is Betty and inspired
you to come up with that song?

Karis: We wanted to get across real situations. In our music we talk about real life issues.
Alex: Betty is a friend of a friend. We re-named her. She’s sorted out her life now so she’s good.

Capri: A lot of the lyrics in your songs are very raw and x-rated…

Courtney: Not all of them. We have so many different genres and topics on our album. Yes we know that ‘Love Me’ and ‘Betty Woz Gone’ are very out there but that’s not just all we have.
Karis: We have supported acts who have kids turn up and we have to change certain lyrics but also we perform at clubs and those events are adults orientated so we can perform the x-rated version.

Capri: Courtney, in ‘Love Me’ you say the lyric, ‘I don’t do d**k…’. Wouldn’t you do me? (girls laugh hysterically)

Courtney: Urm, no babe I have a girlfriend. Sorry.
Karis: The way we get angry for each other when guys really try it.
Courtney: I get really annoyed when guys really try and don’t get the hint that we are not on it.
Alex: Courtney gets really angry some times its funny.
Courtney: When guys try it on Alex, I’m like ‘Yo, that’s my girlfriend’.
Karis: Its like Courtney is our pimp some times with the way she looks after us and that’s a good thing because we know she’s got our backs.

Capri: So Courtney your taken…

Courtney: I am taken.
Karis: Single not ready to mingle. Music is the love of my life.
Alex: I’m also taken.

Capri: Image is very important and StooShe are very out there with their style and look. Who inspires you guys in that department?

Karis: Our personality is our inspiration really. This is actually casual for us today. You should see us on a night out.
Courtney: We all have our individual characters for example Karis is like the pin up/burlesque type of girl, Alex is more the hip hop 90’s kind of look and I just do what ever.
Karis: We’ve all got very different looks but it works at the same.

Capri: Finally question, where do you see StooShe in 5 years time?

Courtney: Touring hopefully.
Karis: Taking over the world.
Alex: I want to see my face every where, our faces every where.
(Karis and Courtney start laughing)
Karis: Yesterday we was at the gym and we asked Alex what she would get her boyfriend for christmas and she (mimics Alex), ‘I’m thinking of starting a shrine of myself for him so I’m going to buy a t-shirt with my face on it and a pillow case with my face on it’.
Alex: Last year I got him a birthday card with my face on it.

Capri: Thank you for an entertaining interview. I hope the best in the future for you guys and I will see you in the near future.

Karis, Courtney an Alex: Thank you.

NEW MUSIC: Joe Budden Ft. Emanny - What Yo Name Is!

Joe Budden had many fans but as time went on he slowly but surely kept losing them and it isn't no surprise if this is what they are made to listen to.

In an era where rappers are singing and singers are rapping, we shouldn't be that surprised that Budden has decided to jump on the band wagon. Does he do justice? Of course not. 'What Yo Name Is' sounds like some one got Drake, T-Pain, Trey Songz and Kanye West, put them all together in one giant bowl, stirred them up and came up with this nonsense.

Summer Leather Vests is a duo and with Joe Budden as one of them and Jadakiss affiliated Emanny as the other, the pair have been releasing music via the internet for some time now.

I'm really not sure how to take the song. Listen to 'What Yo Name Is' and let me know your views.

Capri Gets Punched!

Here's a commercial I did years ago that I thought I would share with you guys.

Aiwa did their own version of the famous Apple/iPod, where I had to do a dance routine. See if you can spot me in this mini funny clip (can't be that hard seen as I'm the only guy in the video).

NEW VIDEO: DJ Fresh Ft. Rita Ora - Hot Right Now!

DJ Fresh is one lucky guy to feature Rita Ora on his track as she is one of the most talked about artist right now.

The up beat track is very energetic and in the video it features Rita Ora walking and calling up her dancer friends to which they end up having a freestyle dance battle.

'Hot Right Now' is a dubstep/drum & bass type of song and with the smooth vocals of Rita Ora, it gives it a perfect blend. The song will be released on 26.02.2012.

Listen to 'Hot Right Now' and let me know what you think.

NEW MUSIC: Joel Culpepper - I Fell (Acoustic Version)!

Months back I did an article on Joel Culpepper as a 'NEW ARTIST' and the love he got on Dark Days & Bright Nights has been overwhelming.

Doing various gig and shows around London, Culpepper has just put out an acoustic version of his JDilla cover of 'I Fell'. I said a long time ago that if you want real soul then you will not find any one else in the UK like this guy.

Note perfect. Culpepper takes you on a journey with his music. Listen to 'I Fell' and let me know what you think.

NEW VIDEO: Chris Brown Ft. Kevin McCall - Strip!

I absolutely love Chris Brown's new track 'Strip'.
The track features Kevin McCall and I know plenty of girls who will go crazy from seeing Breezy and McCall's half naked selves. Hell even I got slightly jel watching this video. Its not a pretty sight when I look down my top and I see my chest isn't as tight as theirs.

The video has this kind of winter jam feel. It makes you want to go outside and play in the snow. Watch the video and let me know what you guys think.

Really Mya? Is This Your Career?

Oh dear Joey Essex, Mya has done gone and lost the plot. Her 2nd single from her up coming album K.I.S.S. is the worst thing to ever come out this year.

'Somebody Come Get This B*tch' features Stacie and Lacie and just got released a couple of hours ago on iTunes. Over a strong synth bass, bursting with 90s style pop and dance elements, 'B*tch' sees Mya sing-talking about her hate for girls with lack of self-respect.

Mya seems to come across like she's the type of girl that would wave around her 'cooch'. She definitely calls girls name's on her songs but if I'm really honest, Mya is way too haggard to be singing songs like these.

NEW VIDEO: Cher Lloyd Ft. Mic Righteous, Dot Rotten & Ghetts - Dub On The Track!

Finally the anticipated 'urban' song that Cher Lloyd has on her album, SB:TV have released the video to it.

Filmed months ago, 'Dub On The Track' is meant to show people that this is what Cher Lloyd is really about. This isn't the official video through the label nor will the track be released as a single but its still good enough.

I actually like the song, I did hear a sample of it before and I wasn't so sure about but seeing the visuals makes it so much better.

Cher Lloyd does put many female MC's to shame to certain extent. No one can say big money was put into this video. Who is to say Mz Bratt couldn't do something like this. In all fairness, Bratt cant do something like this as she lacks the main important thing which is being able to MC/Rap.

Watch the video and let me know what you think.

NEW VIDEO: Etta Bond - Forgiveness (Solo Acoustic Version)!

Another video of Odd Child's very own Etta Bond has just come out today via Soul Culture.

Labrinth introduces his first signing in this video clip and speaks about the first time they met in Wood Green and working in the studio with her.

Etta does her own rendition of Wretch32's 'Forgiveness' which she features on. Touching lyrics about the reality of our surroundings and her life, as usual, Bond performs with emotion. I loved this the first time I'd seen her perform at Wired. In fact, I think it is better than the original.

This is just the beginning of her journey, with just a couple of YouTube video's and a feature, Etta is the talk of the town. Watch the video below and comment.

NEW ARTIST: Velvet Stream!

London always has talent and new pop-alternative band Velvet Stream are just bursting with so much of it.

Mataniu, Freddy, Dan, Anthony and Isaac bring you their debut single 'Selfish Mind'. With a groovy beat and lead singer Mataniu's quirky vocals, a new age vintage feel to their brightly coloured video, Velvet Stream are the perfect festival band.

A catchy song and a feel good one at that. They remind me of an English pop/rock version of No Doubt and as we all know No Doubt were huge in their own right. Already performed at various major venues such as the prestigious Shoreditch House, Velvet Stream are a force to be reckoned with. Already up for MTV Brand New Unsigned 2012, you can vote for the group by clicking Vote Velvet Stream

Watch the official video to 'Selfish Mind' and let me know what you think.

NEW VIDEO: Will.I.Am Ft Jennifer Lopez & Mick Jagger - T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)

When I heard this track a while back I instantly fell in love with it and now the video has blown me away.

Featuring the beautiful Jennifer Lopez who brings a sexy Latina vibe and switching up the end of the track with a rock feel, Mick Jagger shows that age isn't slowing him down.

The track from his upcoming album #willpower, the B.E.P front man smashes through hurdles as he launches into the universe in his spaceship. JLo appears via video screens, contorting her sexy body whilst in a skintight body suit, and The Rolling Stones rocker Jagger makes an out of this world performance.

Watch the video and let me know what you think.

NEW VIDEO: Ghetts Ft. Scorcher, Kano & Wretch32 - On A Level (RMX)!

Ghetts has released the remix to his smash hit 'On A Level' but this time he brought along some friends to jump on the track.

With a dubstep feel to it, all four MC's bring a whole different flavour to the track. A simple but yet effective video, directed by Carly Cussen who also directed Lethal B's 'POW 2011'.

Ghetts has shown that not only can he take over the underground urban scene but also that his versatile enough to be a mainstream artist. Featured already on Cher Lloyds album on 'Dub On The Track' alongside Mic Righteous and Dot Rotten. With the right team and management, Ghetts will be on the same level as Wretch32 and Tinie Tempah if not further.

Watch the video to the remix and let me know your thoughts.

Misha B To Play Whitney Houston!

Some things are a blessing in disguise. Misha B getting the axe on the TV show X-Factor has worked in her favour.

Misha B has been tipped to play Whitney Houston's character in the West End adaptation of The Bodyguard. The most successful film and character, Whitney played the lead role amazingly but is Misha B going to fill her shoes? The producers are very keen to sign Misha onto the project.

Misha is a great singer and everything but lets be real now, that scene where Whitney is targeted in the club and Kevin Costner picks her up, who is going to lift Misha up and gaze into her eyes for 3 minutes?

I would still go see it regardless because 1. Its Misha B and she's a great singer and 2. Its The Bodyguard.

Judges Confirmed For The Voice UK!

One of the most talked about and yet kept on the hush show right now is the BBC's new talent show, The Voice UK.

Its finally let out the bag who will be on the judging panel of this competition. Essex pop singer Jessie J was one of the judges we already knew about and alongside her will be Black Eyed Peas member Will.I.Am, from The Script Danny O'Donoghue and a old crooner Tom Jones.

Will Young was a runner up but failed to make the panel, even though it does make sense that he should be a judge as his career started off on a similar show as this. Tom Jones is great, his an oldie with hits but the man hasn't been relevant in years.

Will this show be a hit as the X-Factor? Who knows, but what I do know is that, certain ex X-Factor contestants have been getting emails from the show thanking them for auditioning when they clearly have not. I don't know whats going on there but that sounds very dodgy.

The show will launch sometime early next year and will be hosted by Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates.

NEW VIDEO: Cassie - King Of Hearts (Trailer)!

I've been asking so many people if any one has seen Cassie's new sneak peak of her new video and no one has.

'King Of Hearts' is the singer-models new track from her upcoming album The Seductress. Its been over 5 years since 'Me & U' and the one hit wonder wasn't welcomed very well.

Stunning as always, I hope she brings it this time. Seeing her do magazine covers and featuring in video's is all well and good but if she wants to change the mind of the public, she needs to drop a really good song. Maybe 'King Of Hearts' is the one seen as the ever so talented Laurie-Ann Gibson choreographed it.

Watch the video trailer and let me know what you think.

NEW ARTIST: Vince Kidd!

I have many people approach me and ask me if I could listen to their music. Sometimes its good and sometimes its not so good.

Having mutual friends and seeing each other at various different social gatherings, I always knew Vince Kidd was a singer but never really knew how good of a singer he was. At Troy Bar he gave me his CD and to be perfectly honest, I wasn't overly excited. I just thought 'great, another one'.

On the way home from Troy Bar I played his CD in the car and from the first track, me and my friend looked at each other like 'Say whaaaaaaaaat?'. It blew me away. Ever since then, Vince Kidd's CD 'Taboo' has been the most played out CD in my house, in the car, at work and even at my mums house.

Recently supported Lana Del Rey and performed at hip club Nottinghill Arts Club, Vince Kidd is about to make an explosion in this dry, repetitive music scene. Not only is his voice soulful, his lyrical word play is just on a different calibre. With an edgy-retro style, Vince Kidd will definitely stand out from the rest of the boys.

If you don't believe me, here is an actual acoustic video of him performing my favourite song 'Smother Me'. Watch it and let me know what you think.

NEW VIDEO: Etta Bond Covers Ed Sheeran & Arctic Monkeys!

Odd Child's very own Etta Bond has done a mash up of Ed Sheeran's 'Lego House' with Arctic Monkeys' hit 'Old Yellow Bricks'.

The London singer is introduced in the clip by her long time friend Labrinth. They both met through Myspace when Etta was only 16 years of age. Several years down, Labrinth got signed by Simon Cowell and not forgetting his friend, started up his own label (Odd Child Records) and Etta is his first artist.

Featuring on Wretch32's 'Forgiveness', Bond is already causing a stir within the music industry and this video your about to watch will cause even more problems for many artists.

The girl is great. I could be biased as I am a big fan of hers any way. Watch the video and let me know what you think.

Labrinth 'Crazy Collaborations'!

The UK's most wanted producer Labrinth has revealed that he could be possibly working with major American artists.

The singer who is signed to Simon Cowell's label SyCo, has produced hits for Tinie Tempah, Ms Dynamite and Wretch32, said that he is currently in the studio with some of the 'biggest' stars in America.

On a radio interview with Capital FM, he said: 'Im doing some crazy collaborations. I'm already speaking to artists in America I'm going to be producing for'.

He then goes on to say: 'Its going to be mad. It might be one of the biggest rappers in the world. It might be one of the biggest singers in the world'.

Labrinth, real name Timothy McKenzie is known for keeping his work on the hush. Were all still waiting for his debut album but trying to find out about it is like getting blood out of a stone. Guess were left guessing.

Example VS The Saturdays!

We all have an opinion one one thing or another and we all know I'm a major culprit at that. Rapper Example has been known to speak his mind quite often.

Example has said girl group The Saturdays 'offer nothing' to the music industry. Comparing them to Girls Aloud who he says are far more 'exciting, Example says that The Saturdays are being failed by their record label.

This isn't the first time Example has had a feud with the girls, in the summer he told the Daily Record 'The problem I had with The Saturdays and Alexandra Burke is that they could be better. They could have better songs and be marketed better.' How many times have I said this via twitter or on Dark Days & Bright Nights? The girls are great singers but what their releasing isn't doing them justice.

He then goes on to say 'Girls Aloud were an exciting girl group. The Saturdays don't offer anything. They seem like lovely girls nut their record or management label are not good enough'.

I know many people will consider Example as a hater or envious of their career nut I agree with him fully. Then again, I'm always getting called a hater.

SNAP: Ciara Covers Vogue Paris!

Ciara has never really been the sexy type of girl and her cover on Vogue Paris shows why.

There's something strange and odd about this picture, not sure if its the way she's posing or maybe her figure. Ciara has always been toned and its not something that's always been good to her. We've all heard rumours that she may be part man and part woman and she is a tall female.

Check out the cover and let me know what you think.

Nadine Coyle Working With Celine Dion. Really?

Out of many of the stories I hear, this one has to be the most outrages one ever.

Girls Aloud member Nadine Coyle was supposedly approached by Canadian singer Celine Dion's people for her to work on an up and coming project. I know you're thinking 'whats so strange about that?'. Well, if you haven't heard Nadine's solo single 'Insatiable' then of course you would be confused. If you have then you are aware what I'm on about.

Here is Nadine Coyle's official single. After you watch and listen I will explain my reasons of this dramatic outburst.

OK, Nadine Coyle poo's all over Cheryl Cole and Nicole Roberts vocally, no one is denying that. But 'Insatiable' for me has to be one of the most annoying songs I've heard. Its upsetting that some one as pretty an vocally able allowed herself to come out with such a song.

So my point is, Nadine wrote her song and she told The Sun: 'I'm working on a Celine Dion project, her comeback. Her people contacted my people and now I'm doing that'.

I find it amazing to hear such a thing. I hope for Celine's sake that Nadine's writing skills have improved and I hope for her own sake that she has because I really would like her to release an album that makes Cheryl and the rest of the girls say 'that's REEM'.

NEW VIDEO: XO Man Ft. Ed Sheeran - Follow Fashion (Accoustic)!

A while ago I blogged the original version and video to 'Follow Fashion' and I did like it a lot. Until now that is.

The friendly giant they call XO Man has got his good friend and the very much talented Ed Sheeran to jump on the track and boy was that a good idea. With his vocals and a simple guitar, Ed Sheeran turns the track from an urban feel to a slightly more edgy commercial song.

Take a listen to this version and let me know what you think.

Alesha Dixon - Clearly A Cheap Date!

For a TV show that I don't see tweeted, mentioned or spoken about, Strictly Come Dancing has high viewers.

The judges (Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood) of the show were guests on Chatty Man recently with Alan Carr. Dixon seemed very composed at the beginning of the interview, sipping on a tall glass of wine she was given by the presenter until she got loud and started discussing the back stage antics of Strictly making comments like 'Everybody is really frisky on the show though, you've got to be honest'.

Followed by 'Everybody is horny. The year I was a contestant everybody was really gagging for it', then a fellow a judge snatched the glass out of her hand. Dixon was talking too much and really needed to hold it down but it just got worse.

Clearly my girl was thirsty as she then proceeded to take the bottle of wine from host Alan and start swigging it for a good couple of seconds. The bottle was nearly done.

When is Alesha Dixon going to realise doing crazy things on national TV is not going to make people respect and like her, its just going to make her popular for all the wrong things. Its bad enough she embarrassed herself with her 'music career'.

After all that madness, Alesha tried to make light of the situation by tweeting after the show 'Sorry for being pickled on Alan Carr! I did have fun though!'. Then again 'I am officially a light weight and clearly a cheap date!!! :) xxx'.

Watch Dixon make a mockery of herself in this clip.

NEW VIDEO: Willow Smith Ft. Nicki Minaj - Fireball (Official Trailer)!

Willow Smith has released a sneak peek to her new video 'Fireball' which features Nicki Minaj.

A typical 10yr old with combats and bright colours, dancing on the streets with her friends talking about how she is 'the fireball of the party.' These celeb American kids are very much living a life some of us dare dream off.

Who are we kidding? At that age I only knew about the TV and playing with my friend either at my house or theirs. The streets? Are you crazy? My mother wouldn't even allow us to go to the shopping centre without adult supervision. How times have changed.

Watch the trailer and let me know what you think.
