NEW ARTIST: L Marshall!

Your probably wondering who L Marshall is, and to be frankly honest you have every right to. But lets sit back and find out first. Believe it or not, L Marshall is the voice featured on Wretch32's debut hit single 'Traktor'.

Former rapper now singer-songwriter L Marshall has been around for a while despite not hearing much from him. Other than writing and featuring on 'Traktor', he also penned the #2 hit 'How We Roll' by Loick Essien, so this guy has been on our airwaves. Watch L's first debut into stardom in the video to 'Traktor' alongside Wretch32.

Influenced by the greats such as R.Kelly, Jay Z, Usher, TuPac and the king himself Michael Jackson, L brings a certain edge to music and with his quirky vocals shows that there is no-one capable of doing what he does. When I heard this guy sing I knew from then that the music industry and these so called male 'singers' would be in trouble. With an English/Nigerian background, living in Brazil and Nigeria before coming to the UK 7 years ago, L is ready to let loose. To know what his capable of you've got to listen to his acoustic version of 'Traktor', which might I add is absolutely amazing. Listen to his version of the hit.

Amidst the ride of 'Traktor', he also worked with Kelis, RoxXxan, JLS and more. Being busy as a writer, we now have 'The Wait', his mixtape which was released not long ago and his debut single also the same name has a great video. Signed a deal with Mercury and Sony, 2012 is the year where you will see a lot more of this talented singer. Dropping his album in September which will have elements of Rock, Pop and old skool R&B, L will be performing at the Jazz Cafe on February 2nd along with Luke Bingham and Loick Essien.

From the first time I heard this guy I knew that he would be the one to watch. Did expect him to blow a bit quicker but they say good things come to those who wait, and that's us, the listeners. We waited and now here he is. You can keep up to date with L Marshall on his twitter https://twitter.com/#!/LMarshallMusic.
