The 'Bad Boy' singer has been signed to SyCo since she won the TV show X-Factor in 2008. It is believed that she has permanently cut ties with SyCo. It was originally thought that Alex would be recording her upcoming second album in a joint deal with SyCo and RCA, however, it has now been claimed that she will solely be signed to RCA.Alex's brother David made the announcement on Twitter: "Really happy, Alexandra has officially moved RCA records for new album era. Fingers crossed for progression and improved efficiency."
Lets all remember this is the same brother that was caught selling drugs to celebrities in Mayfair clubs.
He then went onto tweet,"I'd like to thank SyCo for the part they played until this point, but pastures new was required for potential progression going forward.".
Either way, will Alex Burke be better NOW or will she still be putting out 'yawn' music? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
