Alesha Dixon - Illuminati Or Not?

Alesha Dixon, ex female girl band member of Misteeq. Went solo after the group split in 2005, has been trying on numerous occasion to break the charts with her weak, catchy pop-songs. Has this stunner really got what it takes to be a musical artist?

At one point, Dixon was compared to the biggest female entertainer of our time, Beyonce. Whom ever thought to make such a comparison has to of been; 1. Obscenely intoxicated. 2. Very much high on some illegal substances. or 3. Been sleeping with the 'artist' (if she can be called that).

As we all know, Alesha Dixon was never considered as the strong vocalist in Misteeq (better than the one with the Barry White voice for sure). She was well praised for her 'lyrical flow' or MC'ing as its known for. That, as an audience, is what we loved her for. So why didn't she do a solo project heading in that direction?

Lets start from the beginning of her solo-journey: After splitting with the band, she signed a deal with label, Polydor Records. Dixon began recording her debut solo album, 'Fired Up' in 2006, but due to poor record sales of her first two singles, 'Lipstick' and 'Knockdown', she was dropped from Polydor.

In 2007 Dixon became a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing and eventually won. Her television exposure led to a successful comeback, which included her signing to Asylum Records, an offshoot of Warner Music Group. Dixon then released a second album, entitled 'The Alesha Show' in 2008, which received platinum certification from BPI in the UK. (Still reading right?)

In September 2009 Dixon became a judge on the seventh series of Strictly Come Dancing, replacing fellow judge Arlene Phillips. The replacement of Phillips by Dixon attracted criticism, as some questioned the extent of Dixon's dancing knowledge. Dixon herself dismissed the criticism, describing it as a "storm in a teacup", and refused to stand down as judge. In 2010 Dixon returned for the eighth series of Strictly Come Dancing and released her third studio album, 'The Entertainer'.

Lets all be honest to each other. Alesha Dixon cannot sing to save any bodies life let alone her own. So I've come up with a conclusion. Alesha Dixon has sold her soul to the Devil in return she gets fame and fortune (but no number 1 hits). How else could this be explained? She cant be sleeping with boss's at the label because if her sex game was that good, Mc Harvey wouldn't of left her for horse mouth Javine Hylton.

She is a beautiful woman, there is no doubt about that. But bless her, she has no talent. She should of been a dancer. She has a very commercial look, body is shaped nice, pretty and also can dance.

Her third single entitled 'Every Little Part Of Me' from the album 'The Entertainer' (ironic that its called something she isn't), features Jay Sean. I like this song, its catchy and very chewy, chewy, gum, gum.

Good luck to her and her choices in life (hope she makes the right one's). If you're into Alesha Dixon, then make sure you go purchase her album which is on sale now.

  1. I personally think she just has a good business mind when it comes to striking deals, and most likely her looks help her lubricate most discussions. In the game its alot less about skills nowadays, she has a marketable face hence the success...
